How to Use SasSea Wraps
Watch this video to learn how to use the SasSea Wraps® hair ties for secure, tangle-free hair control whether you’re on land or in the water. Our step-by-step guide will show you the best techniques for maximum comfort and style.
SasSea Wraps Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Your Hair
Brush through wet or dry hair. If your hair is layered or very silky, consider using a hair texturizer or curl definer cream.
Step 2: Position the SasSea Wrap
Using the center loop, make a ponytail at your desired height and head position. Hold the SasSea Wraps Hair Tie at the base of your ponytail and give the two cords a tug to ensure they’re not caught in the ponytail loop.
Step 3: Get Ready to Wrap
Bring the ponytail and SHORTER cord over your dominant hand shoulder. Bring the LONGER cord over the opposite shoulder to keep it out of the way.
Step 4: Wrap Your Hair
Holding your ponytail with your less dominant hand, use your dominant hand to wrap the shorter cord around the pony tail beginning at the top and spiraling down to the end.
Step 5: Position the SasSea Wrap
While wrapping, ensuring the cord is snug but not too tight. Tie off the loop at the bottom of the spiraled hair. Adjust the wrap to achieve your desired look and comfort level.
Step 6: Secure the Wrap
Repeat steps 4 & 5 wrapping the longer cord around your ponytail in the OPPOSITE direction and tie off at the bottom.

SasSea Wraps Tips & Tricks
After making your ponytail with the center wrap, gently pull down on the cords to ensure they are not caught in the ponytail loop.
Experiment with tension and distance between wraps. Your goal is to have the cord loop end at the bottom of your wrapped ponytail with about 2 inches of hair remaining to tie-off.
Use your index finger on the hand holding your ponytail to hold the latest spiral in place as you work down your ponytail.
Option: Wrap the longer cord around your ponytail in the SAME direction to create a ‘spiraled’ look as opposed to a ‘braided’ look.
