Why We Manufacture Where We Do
At SasSea Wraps®, how something is made matters just as much as what it’s made from. Our wraps are handmade in China in small batches in partnership with skilled artisanal manufacturing teams who specialize in hand-crafted corded goods. This allows us access to specialized techniques that are essential to achieving the durability, stretch, and performance our wraps are known for—without sacrificing comfort or hair health.
All SasSea Wraps are made using Certified Eco-Friendly materials, including a cotton-blend exterior cord and a durable elastane core that expands and contracts with your hair. We work directly with our manufacturing partners using ethically sourced materials, responsible labor practices, and hands-on oversight at every stage—from sourcing to final quality control.
We choose our production partners intentionally, not based on shortcuts or mass production, but on craftsmanship, consistency, and shared values. The result is a wrap that’s thoughtfully made, built to last, and designed to perform—whether you’re on land, in the gym, or underwater.
